Today was the day. The trees are budding and today the first ones popped! The warm weather has brought us spring in north Texas.
We have had dandelions for a few weeks and now the rain and sun have got the trees going. It is just one kind (and I could not even begin to guess what it is) but the other will follow. The Bradford Pears (at least I know what those are) are also very close. It is a week or two early but here comes spring.

I am looking forward to getting back to Fort Worth mid-March. I always seem to celebrate St. Pat's Day in Texas. Nice to know things will be in full bloom.
I actually saw some dandelions last Friday here in central Arkansas and some daffodils are starting to open up. I am very ready for spring.

I've been too busy to look closely but I suspect with temps in the 60's & even reaching 70 one day here recently, a few of our early bloomers may be tricked into an early start.

I fear that KC is not done with winter just yet.
