Just seemed like a better title than Tufted Titmouse.I caught it the other morning while on a quick hike to watch the sunrise. On the way back the bushes were full of these guys. Not an eagle but it was not easy to get a decent shot of one.

A welcome change - I was on eagle overload! (spoken like a true non-avian guy, I know)
I like the composition, depth of field and quality of light here. Everything comes together very well. I do think this would benefit from selectively brightening the bird, and also removing the odd speck on the top of its head. Since it's easier to show what I mean rather than explain, here's an idea: http://joeltruckenbrod.squarespace.com/storage/EDIT654.jpg
If I'm out of line and you want me to pull it, let me know.
Joel, feel free to play with anything you want. That goes for anyone else. The speck on its head is a drop of water. I just don't seem to make the time to tweak shots.

Nice shot. I would remove the speck from the head and maybe crop a little from the left side of the photo.

Joel's editing of the image works for me, Kendall. Nice catch!

Beautiful image, Kendall. I like the way the colors of the bird repeat in the BG. The reworked image works better for me because the bird's face appears well lit.

Looks great! I like the reworked image as well. You might try to tone down the bright OOF branch right behind the bird. Love the colors.
