photo requests from buyers

I'm new here, so forgive me if this question is answered somewhere. I haven't been able to find it. I seem to recall that when I was reading all the information about the site before signing up, there was mention of the fact that you could put your name up to receive "want lists" from buyers requesting pictures.

Is this true or am I mistaken about that? If it is true, do these buyer requests automatically go out to all members or do I have to sign up somewhere?

If I understand your question correctly, the image requests that you're asking about do not come directly through NPN. Instead, you have an option to receive image requests in your email when you are setting up your photoportfolios.net account. These requests are not very frequent, but you will be on the email list when they do come in. Hope this helps.

Heather: Yes, thank you -- that's exactly what I was talking about. I checked my preferences and I see that I did check the box to receive the requests. There was so much to absorb when I was reading all the material on the site that I forgot where this was.
