This picture was taken on one of my recent visits to 'Burton Marshes'/Dee Estuary, and it was early morning after a very cold night and the sky really was this blue! :jump: and i had luck on my side with these three curlews flying over! it is 100% full frame,no pp as shot, all comments/advice very welcome   :toast:

I think this is a nice flihgt shot.
They have enough space to go into.

Like ducks on the wall, and yes, I can remember them being the “in” thing.

A nice strong diagonal, an excellent capture, excellent comp. etc.. Excellent shot.

I did'nt want to say it first ray, but yes when i saw this image in the back of my d300 i laughed and thought of a certain 'soap' on itv for over thirty years, with hilda and her three ducks on her wall!
Thanks for comment

Craig

I must be getting twitchy, as when I saw that you, the author had replied, I just had to have a look.

Like you when I saw it I also thought of “Hilda” and also my Grandmother.

The "ducks" sprang to mind here too! Lovely colours and I like the variation in wing position that makes it more dynamic
