I need to have a couple of my digital images printed, and NOT ink-jet.
Anyone have any suggestion in Colorado Springs?
Thanks!

No offense, but what's wrong with ink-jet?
A print from the new HP Z3200 on semi-gloss or gloss will look every bit as good as Lightjet or Chromira and will last longer. The new crop of inkjet printers are amazing!

My experiences in the past with ink jet were disappointing, if not flat out dismal.
Call me a throw-back, but I do prefer good old fashioned traditional printing.
BUT...I am not an unreasonable person (I think). So, I'll be glad to expand my search to EXCELLENT quality ink jet commercial printers, also. Recommendations, anyone?

Bob;
Epson as I'm sure you've heard makes a specialized line of photo printers raging from the Photo R2400/2880, which does Super B size (13x19) and then there are many above it, ending at the 11800, which does up to 64" wide

Thanks, Chris...
I should clarify that I'm not looking to buy a printer (I've got one already), but looking for a place to bring a file to be printed...

Quite frankly in COS, no. Accent might have done OK, but I was not confident in their abilities. They've morphed into a commercial printer now anyways. I don't know of anyone else running a lightjet/chromira in town. You'll have to go beyond Colorado Springs. I don't know of anyone in Colorado Springs running commercial inkjet that would fit your needs either.

Thanks, Mel.
In the past I had good results at Shewmakers, but they're gone. When I was still shooting slide, Accent did pretty good work for me.
I may have to go the on-line route, but I may have some time constraints.

Bob, I used to share your opinion. I can recommend someone that does truly excellent Epson K3 large format fine art printing here in the Springs. I know he runs at least an Epson 9800. Shoot me an email if you are willing to give IJ another shot... you will not be disappointed.

Hmmmm...seems like if someone had about $500.000, they could have a storefront monopoly in COS for lightjet etc. What about West Coast imaging? I hear they have fast turn around times even if they are out of state. The only major one I can think of in the major metro area is Reed Photo here in Denver.
