Forest Jay part II
Also a shot I'm very happy with. I know it's 'just' a Jay but they are so difficult to get, especially on a spot where I want them to sit.

iso 250 1/25 sec. F4 full frame from Forest hide

Looks OK Edwin.
Pity the pine hadn't been on the left but just my view . Others will think differently without doubt. Goog stuff though.

I thought your previous shot was good, but I think this beats it by a whisker. Like the previous one, it works superbly, an excellent capture, can say no more.

Would suggest taking out the rain/snow streaks tho'.

yes, I prefer this to the last one as well. Very nice indeed. I would also consider getting rid of the rain, I don't think it adds anything here.

I liked the last one Edwin but I think this is even better.

I really like these two Jay shots , the settings are right as are the techs , as for the poses , it would have been nice if the in this shot the bird had its back to the foliage and was looking out of the frame but as with many pictures , take what you see and more importantly first find your Jay.

Lovely image of a timid subject at least here in Norfolk. Bg sets it off well. :toast:

Excellent Edwin, nice comp and pose; with the snow spots on the bird and branch I think the snow streaks should stay as they help tell the story.

Its very nice indeed, I too prefer this one... also keep the rain/snow streaks, I would prefer more but you can't have it all....
