I caught the same sunset Wayne did tonight (thanks for sharing Wayne!) while I was out on a field trip with my photography class tonight at the outlet area of Tuttle Creek Lake. Beautiful evening (guess that makes up for KSU losing to KU in tonight's bball game).
Wayne, if you can bring a sunset with you like we had tonight every time you come to the flint hills, please visit more often!!

Ahhh, symmetrical rock stacking foreground ... got to love that! A really nice blend of foreground detail, underwater detail and reflection Scott. I like this one. Hope your class got some good one's too!
And if I could get this kind of sunset every time I visited the Flint Hills I would be there more often. Of course I might have to charge other photographers for the service.

Nice shot Scott. The rocks highlighted in front of the "anchor" rock add to the textures of the composition. It was a good thing for Wayne to bring the clouds along to add to the sky.

Wonderful colors. A bit dark perhaps, but nice shot. The rock gives it kind of zen like focus.

Beautiful scene, Scott. Thanks to Wayne for the clouds too :), I'll post my version of that afternoon after I get some processed.

Beautiful composition. I really like the FG rock. Nice reflection and I like that you can see under the water, too. Of course, the sky is to die for.

Wonderful composition Scott. The foreground along with the horizontal positioning of the clouds really draws my attention all the way through the image.
