In between storms ~ Coke Ovens at Colorado National Monument yesterday.

This reminds me of a place near where I live. It's a beautiful landscape. I like the composition. Too bad the light was so flat; there is still a great sense of depth.
Looks like a really interesting place...nice shot, I wish the light was better, but for what it was, you captured a nice shot.

Looks like someone spilled coke on the coke ovens! Anybody got a straw?
I like this even with the flat light. The blow -- er, I mean, snow, adds nice definition.

I really like this comp, Dave. As others have mentioned, the light is kinda flat, so that immediately made me think of getting creative in PS; maybe pump up the contrast and/or saturation, or try BW. I really have to work on visiting this place. I've just driven past way too many times.

I like the scene here too. I think warming the scene a bit or increasing the contrast might be a good option to bring our more of the red.
Thanks for the suggestions, folks. Yes, the light was flat - it was spitting snow. I worked on the curves layer a bit and believe it's headed in the right direction...
