Sometimes the only thing better than a nice sky, is nice company.

I like the expansive look you captured, with that one lone tree. The sky is awesome. The Flint Hills are truly beautiful no matter the time of year.

I like this perspective better than the vertical I posted Brad. Guess I couldn't see it from the top of my Trailblazer!
I especially like how you've positioned the repeating hillsides so they feed into the trees right-to-left and left-to-right. Throw in a killer sky and you have a winner!
Glad I bumped into you, shooting with a good friend is as good as it gets!

Brad, I like the clouds in this wide view.
It sounds like you and Wayne have been doing a lot of tedious footwork in preparation for next Sat. On the other hand, I can think of a lot of worse things to do on a winter afternoon than driving around the Flinthills.
I just hope you leave a few good shots for the rest of us.

Beautiful light and clouds, Brad. The single tree breaks up the open prairie, lending a place to rest the eye amidst the grand prairie.

Beautiful shot. I like how all the lines of the hills converge at the tree. Really pulls your eye in. Are we going to owe royalty payments to Wayne for the clouds??

As far as royalties for "Waynes Clouds" I bet he would go for a meal at Emma Chase Cafe in Cottonwood Falls!

Most of you know the movie "Kelly's Heroes". And if you do it is safe to assume that you remember the character "Crapgame". Crapgame was always telling his troups "enough with the negative waves man".
If everybody thinks positive waves about those clouds being there next Saturday for a beautiful sunrise and sunset, they'll be there man!
