Crested Tit on antler
The Red deer are losing their antlers this month and the next. I was in a creative mood and.....well, see for yourself

A superb image Edwin, complimentary tones and the complimentary shapes of the veg and antlers all work perfectly; very nice indeed!

Very nice. Good to see a little space around the subject.

Very nice, I too like the space the subject has been given, plus it looks well just right, as I guess the Red Deer share the same coniferous woodlands...

Wonderfully sharp - that 200 - 400 is a very good lens isn't it.

Now let me see must carry a few spare antlers about for future use.
Only trouble is Edwin I havnt got any.
Its a different creative approach and you have done well to get a loovely bird to make use of it. :toast:

thats really nice, one occasion where a tighter crop would potentially have spoiled this image :)

Lovely image - the colours are so complementary here. Unusual, but very effective indeed.

There's something that just makes this one work so much more than just the combination of colours, light etc and I can't put my finger on it. Nice shot, oh and can you collect us all a set of antlers on your rounds in the wood?
