I went up to Bisti over the weekend, or so I thought. Turns out I was in the De-Na-Zin Wilderness instead. Anyway, here is my favorite from the trip. C&C welcome.

Although the colors are very nice, as well as the different textures, I don't care for the foreground not being sharp, or the horizon as centered as it is, and the sky has too much gradation difference from the polarizer probably. Any others from your trip?

Jim, officiially it is now merged into the Bisti-De-Na-Zin Wilderness.
These white sands actually look more like the western Bisti area than what I remember seeing in De-Na-Zin. How did you get there?

+1 with Morris on the nice colors and textures. I am not sure about the sky - looks too dark on my monitor. Did you use a CP?

I agree with the above regarding over polarization of the sky, but the textures and colours in the sands are very nice!. Would like to see what else you shot on the trip!.

Yes. The CP is a little over the top I know, also I see what you mean about the foreground Morris. Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm posting a couple more from the same trip. The first is a wider take on this subject. Let me know what you think.

Jim I like the 1st re-post. The dormant plant circle in the fg makes a nice anchor point, and the sky even though still over-polarized (for my tastes) isn't as dominant. This location certainly looks like it had much to explore!.

I agree with Nick on the repost, and like me, it wouldn't hurt to dial back your polarizer a little. I often get carried away with it too. The 2nd is nice as well, and you might could lose a little sky here to bring that log up for more prominence.

Thanks for the feedback. I know I have CP addiction. I also like your suggestion about cropping out some of the sky in the second image Morris
