Major.... an image that is full of 'nits' but I really like it...the subtle tones are super...

Excellent Major it looks good on the ground and that attentive stare shows it's locked onto some prey, the low POV works well.
Very addictive Barn Owls, that's about all I've done recently too; well and Fieldfares......... Eagles tomorrow though; the fast noisy ones!

Excellent shot, Nits or not its a very different view from the usual flying shots, Personally I like nits, thats the way the shot was taken but Before anyone has a go it's only my personal view, and I'm not an expert, merely an observer.
Well done

I always thought that nits was something you got in your hair at Jnr school.

nicely done :) unusual to see one on the ground with so little obstructing the view of it, i normally just see the head poking up behind a tuft of grass lol

Nice to see it in a different environment to a lot of the other shots.

Nice one Major.
No choc flavoured mouse either ! I won't go into ethics.
Just the two darkstems in the back but no big deal.

I like this as it is, as if you've been secretly peering into his private moment. No nits from me.
