With all this snow around recently, I've been concentrating on red squirrels in the local wood, but I just came across this shot from last year taken in Norway.

Good stuff Mark
Bit more canvas on the right would clinch it but no big deal.

agree with John re a teeny bit more space to the right, but lovely shot all the same :)
A real cracker, like it as is,just enough to the left to balance things, their coats certainly look much better in the colder conditions ours never get quite so thick or bushy!!
Great!

Lovely capture and colours - especially against the snow
One minor nit - was it snowing at the time ? I've come back to this post several times and my eye keeps being drawn to the snow spots in front of the fox and above its backside. I might have cloned those out to clean the image up simply because they are so random and just look like dust bunnies - IMO anyway.

Excellent looking fox and the snow on it's face is great!

This is one beautiful fox. Well captured and I love the snow on his nose.
Great work.

Lovely, I agree about the room to the right. The snow on his face makes it. What a luxurious coat he has!

Hi mark, the fox is a cracker, amazing pelage and lovely new snow all @ it, snow on the muzzle is also really nice, and great light to boot
Love it, especially the expression and the snow on the face.

Gorgeous shot Mark, what a coat and the snow on the nose adds that something extra. Would love to see this as a panoramic style with more environment on the right
