Todd, you really motivated me to get off of my butt Friday night and go shoot the ice sculptures that were done in downtown Parker that night. There were 4 very nice sculptures, and I spent an hour and a half shooting them in very cold temps. I felt the creative juices flowing just to be shooting something different. Thanks.
And on Saturday morning I went to shoot the ice coated trees south of Castle Rock, but I found this barn in an open space and spent some time on it, too.

Niiiice! I really like #3, and I'll bet that's a shot you never even thought of until it was right in front of you. Serendipity. It's a good thing!

Morris, I really like shot #3 too. The ice sculptures would probably look neat in the early dusk when they would pick up some extra blue from the sky.

Thanks guys! The flag shot was equal parts serendipity, Todd, and equal parts determined to shoot other things beside the ice sculptures since I was already out.
