Kasha Katuwe Tent Rocks
Here's one from a trip to Kasha Katuwe Tent Rocks. C&C welcome

You certainly found some interesting subjects at Kasha Katuwe, and I can see why these rocks were named as such. I prefer the reposts in your last post to this composition, but I think if you perhaps boost the contrast a little more this scene will have a bit more bite .

I get the sense that these formations might be very hard to photograph - from any sort of safe viewpoint. Maybe that's why the intended focus or primary subject matter doesn't seem very firm here ... is it the tent rocks, the clouds, etc? Or maybe it's because the formations seem a bit cut off in this comp. Again, I realize this may be a hard place to photograph. Hmmm, I can't really put my finger on it, honestly. Just seems a bit cluttered. On a technical note, enlarging the contrast range is a worthy consideration, like Nick said. I've never heard of this place, but you've certainly managed to pique my interest. Fascinating.

As Jesse noted, the composition gives the feeling that the hoodoos have been truncated.
I've been on that trail and can sympathize with the difficult angles available when shooting the hoodoos from above.

This is about the best perspective I could find without a skyhook. Jesse. This place is west of I-25 just south of Santa Fe, NM. Take the Cochiti exit and follow the signs.
