Falling Spring Mill
Or at least the pond. Yesterday I had the day off and went there with a few people from the camera club. The sycamores around the pond got pretty interesting when the sun started lighting them up.

Almost ghostly trees Tim. Did you get your feet wet?

Tim, a very tranquill scene and another great B &W from you. This reminds me of winter scenes that I see on the rivers.

A lot of nice elements in this shot Tim, which is no surprise. The light on the trees is very nice as you point out and I like the shadows across the water and the prominent pine tree.

BTW, I liked the other images on your blog. You seem to be focused more on architecture with a strong emphasis on geometric shapes and patterns. Good stuff, thanks for sharing!

Larry - didn't get my feet wet! But that's only because I wore knee-high waders. This shot was easily taken from the bank, though.

Wayne - I have a hard time taking the same kind of photographs all the time. By way of analogy, sometimes I like baroque music, sometimes classical and sometimes jazz. Nature photography, played constantly, starts to sound like Muzak to my ears.

Tom - it's hard to post this so small. The 21MP file has a lot of detail that just can't be represented here.

Just what Wayne said, plus the little puffs of fog illuminated by the sunlight add a lot of mood to this. Beautiful, Tim.

This is real nice Tim. A wonderful prospective and the b&w tones area really nice.
