Common Seal.
Don't know if this looks weird or amazing so what do you think? My first trip to see Donna, and she was cold, harsh and rather gritty. Camera survived, just. I had sand in my eyes and was struggling to breathe, but nothing compared to this little soul. No eye contact here I'm afraid.
Canon 5d2, 600mm at F6.3, 1/640th sec at 320ASA. Full Frame.
Works for me - love the cool blue sky contrast aganst the warm sand, with that smug, contented grin in the middle. That diffuse 'horizon' gives it a quite surreal feel. You've got to admire these hardy beasts that put up with the cold wind and stinging sand....and the seals as well.

Some thing different. Look the picture.
That's the real hard life.

Looks pretty good to me and I complain when I get an eyelash in my eye!

the colours and the pose here make this a bit different, I like it. It does show the harsh environment.
