Covered Horton Bridge
This is a slightly different view of the covered Horton Bridge at Amnicon Falls State Park. I happened to be driving by the park after about 5 inches of lake effect snow so I stopped and found I had the park to myself. I’m not sure if this works for anyone.

There are a few more photos of the covered bridge on my web site

As soon as the image popped up I immediately thought, WOW, that's extreme framing!, and immediately liked it. To me it works too, because of the muted light, makes the image very comfortable to view (and keep viewing). If it was processed with today's mega-saturation and sharpening I don't think it would work, I like it just as it is. Good catch!

Yep, my first words, too, were "nice framing"...

I know that tree!! I was up in the fall(missed colors), and took the same shot. I like yours alot better, you'll have to believe me(no pp could fix my f-up). The snow is an excellent element and you nailed the copper colored water under the bridge.

Have to agree about the framing. The snow really set it off. Glad to get to see the shot.

Nice framing, Phil! The snow is a big plus in this composition.

Yes, the framing jumps out immediately. Very well seen.
