Finally got the 5D2, had to shoot SOMETHING
Time to shoot has been so scarce lately, and here I finally got the 5D Mark II after selling my 5D in SEPTEMBER, so in an effort to shoot something, I grabbed a sunrise during our last snowstorm (I know, how original! ). The building is just the clubhouse at our condo association here in Cincinnati. Nothing excited really, but I'm trying to improve on composition. I didn't have my ND Grads that morning, so I just double-processed the RAW file.

Now that I have a camera again I'll make the effort to shoot something NATURE related and get some postings up. Anyone else finding the time to shoot scarce like me lately?

Congrats on the camera Paul - I know you've been looking forward to it, given your posts that I've seen on some of the other NPN forums. It should be pretty darn nice. The only negative thing I've really read is lackluster jpeg output (who really cares IMO), and iffy weather proofing (I read of failures due to humidity...hard to say what's going on there). Have fun! Nice capture here, though I'd be curious to see a vertical take with the rock curve running into the lower left corner. What lenses are you going to be using?

I like comp and the colors in the shot. Looks like may be tilting a little to the right.

Looks like the new camera is performing well, Paul! Let's see some more!

"Me too" on the shooting time query.

Nice shot, though I agree it does seem to need a slight CCW rotation.
