Taken last November at Leighton Moss, I quite like the colours in the sky contrasting with the white of the birds

techs are

D300, 500mm lens, 1/400 at f8 200asa

Nice how the clouds frame the image, and I agree the colours are great, but I think the birds are too small really.

The trouble with an image like this, is web sized just won't do it justice. I would imagine it might look better when viewed large so you can see more detail. It would be nice if the 3rd bird had it's wings down to match the end one but I think we are all used to subjects that don't cooperate!! :smile:

Great shot, But on the web to small.
Must be on a big canvas at the wall. I think it will be great then.

a nice image but 500 pixels doesn't do it justice (you can post up to 720). I agree the colours are very nice but the birds look a little small (and maybe too central).
