Presentation: Rocky Mountain National Park
Hey everyone, this is shameless self-promotion. This Saturday at 7pm I'll be giving a presentation at the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center in Rocky Mountain National Park as part of their Lyceum Series. I'll be showing lots of images and telling stories. If any of you are up this way on Saturday and can stay for the presentation that would be great.

Sounds like a great evening Erik. Unfortunately I don't think I will be able to make it up, but wish you the best with the presentation.

Erik, Having been involved with politics for many years I fully respect your "shameless self-promotion." My motto always was: "If one does not toot his own horn, his horn will go untooted." Not exactly Shakespearean but it's the best I can do.
Thank you for the comment on my hoar frost image. From you that is very high praise. If we can, we will be there Saturday evening.

Wish I could make it...

By the way this shot is awesome. Looks like an incredible spot. Makes me long for summer.

Wow, wish I would make it since I enjoy your photography. Unfortunately, I'll be on my way to Tahoe.

Thanks for the heads up, Erik. I'll put that on our list.
BTW, where was this shot taken from?

Congratulations Erik. I wish I could get up there but just got back from Utah and need a couple days to regroup, especially my sore legs from hiking in and out of the canyons. I love your work and know that those who attend will surely be blessed.

Shameless I tell you! Seriously, congrats and best of luck, Erik. I wish I could make it but it's a bit far from Moab. I'm sure it will be wildly successful, though!

I can't make it up there, but I hope you have a great presentation.

I doubt I will be able to make it, but congratulations and good luck with your presentation.
And it is totally o.k. to toot your horn!

I'm thinking if you offered free beer and pretzels you'd get a big RMNP turnout!

Hi Erik,
I will try and make it up. Any news on if Mr. 'Landscape Shooting at Midday' will be up as well?

Paul, I've not hear that he's coming up. It would be fun to see you though if you make it.

I'll be there tonight. If anyone wants to carpool up from Denver, drop me a note. :wavey:

Erik;

How'd it go?? Hope you had a great turnout!

Thanks for asking Christopher. I think it went ok, but you should probably ask some of the others who attended. We had about 120 people there and a good delegation of photographers. A number of people have come into the gallery today as a result, so that's helpful. Thanks to everyone who came!

sounds like it worked out well. I was hoping to make it up, but got tied up in some other items. Hopefully you had a good day at the gallery today.

Eric,

I really enjoyed the presentation! It inspired me to make the time to get out and shoot a little more. Great work!
