Snow bunting lookout
If you like a nice clean background then this could be for you, yes I have been looking at 'white wildlife' in borders.

Quite a bit of playing with levels aiming for a balance between cold blue but not to much. Removed some seeds etc, minor crop

Canon 40D 100-400 at 400
1/640 f7.1 ISO 400 +1 comp

Thanks for looking, C and C welcome

Nice. Too many bunting pix are....well...just buntings in a whiteness..so its good to see a wee daud of habitat for a change. This is very subtle and works nicely for me. To nitpick - theres a hint of red coming through the shadows on my monitor, which should be blue, but it could be me at fault and is really a minor observation. Well done.

Very, very nice. i wonder if that hint of red that John is talking about might be soil bleeding through the snow? Colours don't look amiss to me.

Nice snow bunting Ian. Only nit is that the shadow from the hollow in the snow at the bottom draws my eye a bit

Very nice Ian. It could maybe do with a little more sharpening around the face. Was this is Scotland? Ski area maybe?
