Echo Cliff
I managed to get to Echo Cliff last Sunday, located in Wabaunsee Co. along Mission Creek. I'm enjoying finding new and somewhat unique areas of my part of the state. This is nothing really grand or amazing, but for Kansas it is one of the few places people actually can do repelling down a rock face, which I'm told they do in the summer time. An area I think I will keep on my list and check out through the seasons.

Canon EF17-40 f/4L USM @ 33mm
Exposure: f/13 @ 1/15, ISO 100
Crop: Full Frame

And just to let the ones know who are attending the March 29 prairie chicken view at Konza, just talked to Annie and I'm on the list. So I will see ya there!

Glad to hear you made it back to this spot Brad. They must have gotten the road open or you found another way in huh? This could be a nice spot with enough flow and some fall color.

Good news on the Prairie Chicken viewing, it should be a lot of fun!

I 'found' this place last spring and thought it might be a good spot to keep an eye on. I saw someone's photo of it on Flickr and asked where it was...didn't think I had ever seen it before. When I got there though I realized I spent an evening there while an undergrad consuming fermented beverages  I'm sure the number of beverages I consumed that evening had something to do with the fact that I couldn't remember being there before.

Amazing what you can find tucked away in different parts of Kansas!
