In a strange pose!
Have to go with this one as it was the only time anything landed on the twig I'd taped to a post in 3 hours
On the plus side my decision to move on was rewarded with an amazing experience as a stoat chased a rabbit backwards and forwards ending up on top of it just a few feet away. All the commotion attracted a fox which got wind of me so quickly all I really saw was its back end disappearing back into the brambles! Only pity was I didn't get any of it on camera, but the eye contact I had with the stoat is a great memory.

Sounds as if you had an exciting time! I like the composition and pose here. Minor nit - there's a funny bit at the bird's tail - not sure if OOF twig or feathers?
A great looking image nice and sharp plenty of colour.

Thanks for the comments all, always appreciated. Hadn't noticed the strange blob before but it's the end of the twig

Very different pose to the usual shots of these which I quite like, although I keep looking at the oof X shape top left. I hadn't noticed it until I scrolled the page down to read the commetns and then it became apparent!
