Not the most imaginative title! Was out last sunday snowshoeing in knee deep powder looking for a shot like this. I didn't go too far 'cause I'm too darn out of shape for that kind of effort!!

Anyhow, this was taken off the Mammoth Scenic loop w/ a light snow falling the whole time I was there. It was nice to be out "enjoying the silence".

I love the feeling of depth here, and the intricate patterns and detail in the trees.

Cory, the contrast here between the snow and trees is just wonderful. The snow stuck to the trees surely looks to be wind driven too. WOW, would love to be out there right now.

Nice one Cory, the red really stand out here. When I look at snow shots I always wonder how cold it was for some reason.

Nice arrangement of tree trunks... this feels really well balanced to my eye. Exposure and colors look spot on too. No nits here, nice work!
