Saturday's moonrise
It was great to meet everybody on a bitter Saturday morning. Thanks Wayne for coordinating everything.

I'm just getting started on Saturday's images, but here is a 3 image blend that I took first thing Saturday morning.

Nice job Rob. I tried something like that but didn't get any where close to your results. I like the layers and transition of colors. It's just too bad there is so much space between the hills and the moon.

What do you use for your blending, special software or manual?

Nice capture Rob. I like the pinks and blues of the sky. I know I was there, but, I sure missed that opportunity. Thanks for you help and understanding.

Rob, man you made the most of out less than ideal conditions. I really like the vision to go with a blended image to capture that nice sliver of moon over the Flint Hills. I really enjoyed meeting you and having a chance to shoot together.

Thanks for braving the cold with the rest of us! :wavey:

Thanks folks. Ken, I use a free program called enfuseGUI.exe to merge multiple exposures. It does a fairly good job on most scenes, but lacks any of the advanced features of Photomatix. On the other hand, it is much faster because of the lack of features :).

Cool shot, Rob (no pun intended) I really like the layered gradient of colors.

It was nice to finally meet you in person

Nicely done Rob, I like the subtle changes in the photo as you move through it. I love enfuse, I use it as a plug in with Lightroom all the time, nice and simple to use.

Very well done Rob.
