Very nice and excellent portrait, of a very active subject. Nice one.

Thanks for the comments guys, it's a little disapointing that only four people could be bothered to comment on this one, I thought it was a very nice shot of a Dunlin, not to everyones taste I guess, is it the quality of the image that counts or who the photographer is, commenting patterns on UKNP seem to suggest the latter.
Please don't think this is sour grapes because it's not, this is just my opinion on the way things seem to be going on UKNP

Lovely shot, great composition and details.
Yes, I'd noticed it's been a bit slow around here lately. Not very many people commmenting or posting. I didn't have very many comments on my post either, even though I was kinda chuffed with the shot. Perhaps everyone's off shooting and they're all going to come back and post some amazing shots for us....?
Hi Andrew,
Definately a good quality shot of a Dunlin and a pleasure to view.
I wouldn't get too disheartened by the number of comments. It's perhaps just a quiet time on the forum with people busy with the conference and perhaps visiting Focus on Imaging, thus, leaving little internet time.

Hello Andy (try tuning your phone on)
I like this alot, nicely detailed bird with good surroundings & background. It looks like a very bright day so well done on the exposure. The hot spot above its leg is too minor to detract from what is a fine image of a forever moving target.
