When I work with a TIF file in PS and convert to a jpeg, it seems the saturation is dramatically increased. I never noticed this until I was receiving many comments on how saturated my photos were looking, because I am viewing the TIF file while I am making the adjustments in PS or Lightroom and just save for the web and then post. What am I doing wrong? I notice this much more with blue skies.

Kurt, I'm getting the same saturation boost and color shift out of LR2.
I'm sure some of it is related to the colorspace conversion to sRGB.
But, it don't recall that is was such a noticeable problem in previous versions of PS

Try using File->Save As... instead of the Save for Web feature and see if that doesn't help.

One other funny thing about LR2 is when you watch the raw file importing it's color is very well saturated and then it flattens out once it's loaded in and ready to be developed??
What's that about. I do all web sizing in for my nature stuff in PS3 so I'll have to try that out and see.

Thanks for the comments. John, I will try it and see if it does help. Steve, I have the same issue with LR2. I have gone into the settings to see if there is some sort of default saturation or something that is being applied. I think it is because it is converting the RAW image to a TIF file, but not positive.

Steve - the file previews are not color managed, therefore, look different. When it's imported and opened it has the camera raw default settings applied to it, hence, the different look. It works the same way in bridge.
