One more from the weekend. I shot this Saturday evening at 5:30 when Rob and I went back to Deep Creek. I was shooting to the North/East and was able to pick up some good lighting from the sun about to set. Yes, it was still cold and windy...

O.K.---This one was obviously a clunker for the forum. 54 views and no comments. But, I still like it. I will try some color adjustments and see what I can come up with.

Hey Merle, where exactly were you on Deep Creek Road to get this shot? I can't quite place it. The front light is nice but with the wind blowing the fg is a bit non-descript and of course my clouds didn't materialize magically for you so what's a guy to do?
Document a few good spots and come back in the summer when there are wildflowers and warm temps!

Wayne, I shot this on Old Rt 18 between Spring Creek Rd and Panther Rd. It was at the west end of the rolling road vista that I mentioned I wanted to go back and shoot. I will post the road shot (I know you don't like to shoot roads) tonight. The corral was in the distance from the top of a rise in the road.
I am definitely looking forward to some wildflower shots. I just wonder if I mignt be better on the Konza because I won't have to deal with the dust covering the flowers and diminishing the color.

Oh, ok. Now I know where you were. You mentioned Deep Creek Road and I didn't think there was anything like this along that road.
BTW, I'm thinking spray bottles to wash off the wildflowers!

Merle,
I've shot this corral a couple of times, I always thought it would look good with some snow on it, might be a chance for that this weekend!
