Hi Guys,
Have not had much time to go out lately due to workload...
So paid a short visit to the reserve behind my home and shot this Coot.

Lovely and unusual shot! I like the monchromatic feel and the pose of course is excellent. I wonder if including more of the reflection, or a little space around the reflection would look more balanced. Not sure really, as the more I look the more it grows on me as it is!
I have to agree with Dawn on this one, needs a little more reflection. Perhaps you could really push the mono feel of it in PS and make the Coot really stand out?

Nice pose, great detail, especially the eye. I agree about the reflection.
A bit more room on the bottom to include more of the reflection would have been great but the raised wing pose is excellent.

Grey water doesn't usually work for me, but I really like this one. Great wing position and I love the almost black & white quality about the image contrasting with the red eye!
