If Flora is normally slow during the winter then I suspect this spring is going to be spectacular. There were five images that would normally be slam dunk no-brainers. I chose Pat Sampson's Star Gazer but could just as easily have gone with shots from Nathan Buck, Catherine Reilly, Cindy Mead, and Giuseppe Guadagno. Other fine offerings came from Jeffrey Mitchell, Bernie Kasper, and newcomer Aristotle Georgiou. Treat yourself to some real eye candy and take a stroll through these and others on the finest Flora forum on the planet. >=))>

Good stuff - makes me look forward to the return of spring!

Ice is to winter as flowers are to summer. I love the intricate ice/frost formations more than I do flowers.

Bill,

I'm particularly pleased to get the nod this week. This is probably my favorite of the floral images I've done to date. However, I certainly wouldn't have felt slighted had any of the folks images mentioned above been chosen. I've been studying their work with the exception of Aristotle, for the past two years and trying to emulate it and the images submitted this week were no exception.

What an amazing week of images! Great job being chosen Pat - I have loved your stargazer images.
