Very nice indeed.
I love these types of images with the bird small in the frame and surrounded by plenty of habitat and this is an excellent example of that style of shot.
The composition works great as does the birds pose with the wings raised.

I really like the bands of vegetation and the perfectly placed owl. The wing blur makes it even better.

Really captures the way most people probably get to see and enjoy these birds. I feel as though I'm sat in the car anjoying the view, nice one :toast:

An excellent image Craig. Everything is working on this, the composition, light and subject all combine to make a very good example of the environmental type of picture.

certainly works well for me, just wonder if a little bit of selective NR on the OOF area would help

A very nice image with great colour. Agree with Phil about the noise areas, but it is an image I would be happy to get !

I love it! The colours are great and the bird is positioned just nicely. I feel as if I'm sitting on a park bench watching the action. (I say that because there is a park bench overlooking the field where I saw my one and only barn owl)

This is certainly how I'd like to see a barn owl - that is in some decent light! Like this again Craig, agree about some noise in the top OOF section
