I was looking for a section for new member introductions but couldn't find one, so I just want to take a minute to say Hello, and that I am looking forward to being an active member of this forum. I am an avid landscape photographer living on a remote island off of the northeast coast of Newfoundland. You can see my work at http://focusonnewfoundland.com
I use a Sony H-50 for most of my landscapes and panoramas.

Greetings Glen, and welcome to NPN. I'm going to check your site out immediately. I've always wanted to visit your area, Newfoundland & the Labrador Coast. I've heard it is beautiful there, and remote - 2 things I enjoy immensely:) Take care, and welcome.

Glen,

Tilting, Seldom. I have always liked the quirks of Newfoundland place names.

Welcome to NPN. Being in a remote location like yourself, it is the first place I turn to for questions and assistance. I think you will find the people here are very generous with their experience.

Welcome

We loved our trip to Newfoundland in 2004. We even got interviewed by a local CBC reporter. It was a very foggy day on Signal Hill and I think the reporter saw our bright yellow Pontiac Aztek with the Michigan license plates and was intrigued that we had driven so far. He asked what we thought of the weather. We told him we were having a great time.

The people are your greatest asset. It was a great trip
