Heading home after a quick trip to Florida.
Captured this image from the side of the highway just outside Vero Beach, FL. I was surprised at the amount of color in the sky since I was shooting North at sunrise. Clouds to the East were not too photogenic but the sun peaking through holes in the low moving clouds lit up this field with almost a vignette look.

Hey Ed. The pano stitch really works with this shot. The fence posts in the left fg guide the eye into the shot. The lighting adds a great effect with the clouds stretching across the scene.

Some great clouds and color here Ed. Morning and afternoon light has really been warm and crisp lately - glad you captured some of it in this image...nice work as always!

A nice moment indeed. The light pouring through the clouds created an interesting effect in this pano. Glad you stopped Ed. Thanks for sharing!

Very nice Ed. Is the purple in the clouds one of those ice halos?

This would look good printed big, and I'm sure the file is big too.

Thanks for the comments.
Larry, I am not sure about the ice halos. It was 38 degrees on the ground and blowing. I know it was colder than I expected for central Florida.
I was surprised by the color myself, I have started using an expo disk to white balance every shot and it has really added to the color accuracy.

Ed, if it was that cold at ground level you can bet it was lots colder at altitude. Just guessing but that may very well be the cause. It adds a nice effect.
I discovered that while using shifts on this technical camera you have to do a special color cast adjustment which I did not do. This probably accounts for the extra color in the sky which in this case looks kind of cool so I may just leave it if it doesn't look strange when printed.
