I went out last weekend to Fossil Rim Wildlife Center near Glen Rose, Texas. They are a research institution for large animals from around the world. I did a special photographers tour where they take you out and you just photograph from their vehicle. Think of it as an African safari for $65 as opposed to what you would pay to actually goto the Serengeti. For those in Texas a well worth it photo outing.
I posted a few images from the day on my blog but I wanted to throw this one up here.
Do ya like? And what jumps out at ya?
Yes, it is a mirror flip. Something I do not normally do, but with the stripes and eyes, it just looked different. Is it a keeper?

Good effect Darren. It makes it look life the zebra needs to cut down on the Big Mac's and drop a few pounds.
I like it.

I first thought it was a head and cape, which was a bit of a turn-off for me, but I can see how others might like it. Good work with the processing though.

The result is undeniable Darren. I could see this as a poster.

Thanks for the comments.
I am normally a plain ol' landscape guy. I photograph rocks and trees. Especially rocks, as they move in geologic time. Moving targets like wildlife have never interested me. But this time it sounded like a neat event, and it was.
Fossil Rim is a pretty neat place. I have taken the regular tourist drive, but this photographer tour was much better as they drive and you can photograph. Thums up as a location.
