Nothing fancy, but this morning's sunrise was a beauty. This was taken quickly out my backdoor while trying to get my daughter ready for the day. Thanks for looking.

No offense, but this really isn't the place for neighborhood snapshots. Perhaps you could make a cloudscape image with just clouds.

Dave,

No offense taken, but to be honest, I'm surprised by your reply. I would understood your comment if I had posted a picture of my cat or of my new mountain bike. I thought the nature aspect of the sunrise, which I thought was pretty spectacular, did warrant a posting in this forum, but I will be more careful next time when posting "snapshots".

Justin - The sunset was beautiful. Others here have posted similar shots and I don't mind. I'm normally a quiet observer here, but...

Dave - My first thought was, "Wow, that's rude."

Jennifer,

Thanks for the support. If anyone else feels I have mis-posted this image, let me know, and I won't post photos of similar nature again. I say that with the utmost respect for Dave S. and anyone else who feels this way. (It's hard to sense someone's tone via a message posted on a computer, so I wanted to clarify).

I always try to be constructive and kind with my comments and did not intend to offend anyone. It's a pretty sunrise, perfectly exposed and I would simply suggest that you could do something more creative with this magical light. I'll look forward to your next post.
