Haven't uploaded for a while due to various things, and not been out much for a couple of weeks. This was taken back on 'snowy Monday' in the back garden. Just a slight crop for composition.
Hope you enjoy.

The image is very nice if not a little cliched and nothing wrong with that, I think the comp could be improved by centreing the handle and bird and a tighter crop from the top, An image that could sell year after year

Excellent! The red really stands out, the pose is great as is the sharpness and detail. The only things I would suggest is that it could be surrounded by a thin frame of some sort as the left side disappears on the page, and I think I would clone out the sploge of falling snow above his head as it looks a little like a dust bunny. If there was more falling snow it would be ok, but I think on its own it draws the eye a bit.
A really lovely seasonal image!

I'm sure we all strive to get a shot of a robin like this, or sitting on an old boot - I do anyway! For me, the snow on the left is a little too dominant, so I would be inclined to crop a little somehow. It still looks good if you exclude the bottom part of the handle, then cropping from the left (to the edge of the dark smudge) keeps the balance.
A really attractive and appealing image. Perhaps a little less room in front of the bird and a little more space behind would have worked well here.
I'd also go with Dawn's suggestion of cloning out the bit of falling snow directly above the Robin.
A fine perch and wonderful setting.
This has a bundle of appeal but I feel it could be cropped, as others have said to great effect ,making it a more balanced picture . The pose and setting are spot on .

I have put together all of your kind suggestions in this repost. Cropped to make spade handle more central, removed the falling snow blobs and added a small frame.
The first image I posted I purposely left the bird to the right of the frame to give him room to fly into. But I did overlook the problem with the overpowering snow on the left.
The first shot is very commercial, although I would flip it, and the second needs more space on the left. You pays your money, and takes your choice.
Two excellent shots. Well seen/engineered and taken.

Really nice, classic robin shot Fran. The border you've added really helps hold the image in and I think you could get away with a bit more of the white area on the left with it.
