Taken last April this is a shot that I have always wanted to be more than what it is.
I had seen this group of buffalo grazing on the hillside. Got out of my truck and walked about 100 yards or so closer. I figured I could make it back to the truck before they reached me if they started charging. Being in the spring I was unsure if calves may be just over the hill. The big bull up top never took his eyes off of me which made me a little uneasy.
Anyway I had posted this last year, but worked it up again recently to see if I could get more of something from it. I think the buffalo may just be a little to far away to be of any considerable impact in the image.
If you have an opinion one way or the other I would appreciate sharing it.

Brad, I don't recall ever seeing this shot before. Did you post it here?
As for my impressions, being full frame and mostly sky the bison do lose some visual impact. The easiest solution would be to crop from the top to pano making it more 2/3 sky - 1/3 fg ratio.
By the way, I like this ... a good moment that not many get to experience.

Hey Brad, Great shot, but, two things I would think about changing, !. crop down the sky some and 2. re-think getting that close to something that was that big and probably didn't want me so close to the action..

This would make a very good pano crop.
