Hi folks,
I'm selling my trusty Canon 5D with Battery Grip, Kirk L Bracket and 2 batteries. Yes, 5 D ---- don't even think about my Mark II. I love it.

On Craig's list, 3 days ago, the basic body was going for $1700.
Maybe I'm wrong....but hey, I could sell this in parts. Make an offer if you don't like what I've posted.

Nancy, I am still not sure if I want to go to used 5D or brand new D700. Still making my mind... :))
Plus, I need to wait for the tax return... :)

I sold my 5D on Ebay (like-new in Box, only 7000 shutter clicks) in September for $1739, body-only. I got the ad up the first week the 5D2 was announced. The prices did drop after that once everyone started selling, but with a well-worded ad that sounds like the buyer can trust you, you can pull near $1500 (body only), but remember that Ebay runs like the stock market, supply and demand rule the prices. Right now the 5Ds are no longer available in the store, and as that catches on, the value will increase. 5D2's are also hard to find still, and a possible Canon lens price increase is rumoured due to the weak dollar against the yen. It's already made official in the UK (and Nikon has also announced an increase). So with that the 5D becomes more valuable as full-frame desirees start deciding to skip the Mark II so they can get glass. Then you add the battery grip that you have which can be rare, and the package you have could sell in the $1700-$1900 range. Even at $1900, you get a FF DSLR and a grip for $800 less than the 5D2, not a terrible deal. (doing some PR work there for you, Nancy!).

I'm thrilled with my 5D2 also, even though I'm now broke!

I hear you, Paul. Thanks for validating my thought process. I think it's priced right. I'll work on the wording. And I sell on Craig's list now instead of Ebay which has too many flaws.
