Winter Bridge
Looking through some old images of a winter Wisconsin trip I came across this little snap. Nothing great, but I liked the winter feel it had.

At the time I took this I was toting my Mamiya 645 but also had my wife's little p+s-which is what I snapped this with.

Shots like this always make me want to be there so I can go a little farther down the trail.

It reminds me of bluff country, though I'm not sure that it's taken there...definitely a sense of place sort of image.

Kendall-

Thanks, and my thoughts exactly.

Joel-

Yes,another one from Perrot State Park near Trempealeau. In the times I goto La Crosse I have spent my weekends across Wisconsin and ranged up and down the Mississippi, but always kept coming back to Perrot and the neighborning Trempealeau NWR. Both are top notch areas with decent walking and some nice views.

I like this--nice angle with the bridge and good job minimizing the sky without losing the topography of the hillside. Generally speaking, and considering all the tree trunks you had to work with and around, this is extremely well composed, IMO.
