I rumaged through the files, found this recent photo from my youngest son's wedding a few years ago..I'm the 55 year old bald guy on the right BTW ;)
I live with my wife Mary and our four dogs Buddy, Daisy, Rosie, and Blue. Our home is surrounded by six acres of Hill Country in its natural state. I've found that it affords ample opportunity to photograph the flora & fauna here in Central Texas.
Started about 6 years with an Olympus C8080, and backyard macro lit the fire..I spend all my spare time shooting now, and enjoy every minute of it. Always a challenge to improve one's skills and techniques.
I especially like to shoot action captures of small birds and other animals..It's one of the main reasons I bought the M3 at 10fps

Welcome to CSNP Howard! Nice to have another member from Texas on board. Six acres in the Hill Country doesn't sound too bad as far as nature photography goes.
I'm looking forward to seeing some of your images. Bring 'em on!

Hey Howard - Welcome. It's always nice to have new members and see a different area represented. With that much property in the hill country you should have a lot to share.

Heading down in April to the Mad Island Marsh Preserve that's owned by the Conservancy.
I'll post some of those shots. It will be great to shoot some new subjects for a change.
Working on a new website with a friend of mine..Here's the tentative Homepage.
