Leap of Faith
Taken this morning out my back door as the snow fell and the birds frequented the feeder. I liked the unusual position of this female cardinal as she jumped to the ground to pick up fallen seed.

equiv focal length 640, 1/4000 @ f5.6, ISO 800, AF, crop 40%

Wow, great job Wayne, the bird is sharp, the snow makes a nice background, the crop works great

we only got a slight dusting here in central KS, mostly on the windshields

Great shot Wayne... She definitely looks like she is going into a dive mode. Nice point of focus and the blended background doesn't distract from the capture. So far we have only had a light dusting and cold (23) temps. She almost looks like a 3-D image against the background.

Wow is the only word appropriate. Looks like you used a bit of flash to bring out the colors.

Great shot Wayne. The out of focus grey background is perfect to set off the colors of the cardinal.
