I just purchased this lens used off ebay yesterday. It won't arrive until this Friday so I don't have any first hand experience with it. I will say I was comparing it with the Canon 100-400L but the price for the Canon was too high for my budget. Reviews/tests show that the Canon is sharper overall and faster focusing. You might read this review and look at the ISO Crops for comparison to other lenses. http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Sigma-80-400mm-f-4.5-5.6-EX-DG-OS-Lens-Review.aspx
