Carolina Wren
Spritely and noisy little bird. Caught this one in near-classic pose with tail mostly up. Weather was cold and damp 02-28-09.

Nice capture Dr. Loomis. I like these guys. I built a house for one and placed it out of site in a back inside exterior corner of my shed under the eave. They moved right in. I know there are different varieties of the wren and I haven't ever figured out which one I have. Thanks for sharing.

Nice capture Daniel. I've always been impressed with the songs that the wrens can belt out and I'm equally impressed with their beaks!

Your bird shots continue to amaze me. They are all sharp and show great detail.

These are some of my favorite birds, but have never been able to catch once sitting still long enough for a good shot. Nice timing, Daniel!
