The Storm and Stone
Taken the other night here at the res. Kinda simple comp here but not sure if it works.

I'm thinking the clouds need to have more drama in them for this scene to really work well. A vertical cloud pattern that fans out towards the top of the frame would make a better counterbalance for the simple lines in the foreground. Also a longer shutter speed would smooth the water more resulting in a better transition between water and sky.

I like your study in blue here. What res are we looking at?

This is absolutely working for me! What magic did you use to make the shoreline point at the stone??? The movement in the water and the clouds is subtle, but it all follows the same direction, leading into the picture. The overall impact is of a wonderful, zen-garden simplicity.

Everything about thios pulls the viewer in to the image! Well Done!

Subtle, but beautiful. I think a crop from the top would strengthen this quite a bit.

Thank you all for the kind words and comments. They are much appreciated.

Heather,
Thanks and thats the way the shore was from the wind blown waves. All Mother natures doing.

I like the simplicty of the image and the slight motion in the water.
