This location needs no introduction, I'm sure. Taken this morning. The color didn't last too long, but it sure was nice while it did. Comments appreciated.

Hey, I'm glad you made it up there Paul. Isn't that a great overlook! That's one cool cloud over Longs. It is almost unreal. I would have loved to have seen that. Too bad you didn't have better, light but it looks like you did the best with the situation.
Paul this looks good, the blue tones are quite realistic for this time of day. Today was a great cloud day along the Front Range.
One thing I notice is the halo effect at the threshold between the mountain and sky, not sure if that's real effect or not, but it might be the result of bringing up the foreground elements.
Do you have any others right after this with Long's lit up? you said the color was brief but I love it when the sun starts to bathe the topmost rocks up there.

Thanks guys. Chris, there wasn't much going other than this. The light on the peaks never really appeared. This 2nd shot is about the best it ever got. I think my web sharpening is what's causing the halos. They're not there in the large version.

Looks like you caught the pefect time and cloud. Wonderfully done.

Great shot! I really like the color of that single cloud.
James just about summed it up ... freaky cool. The dark/light halos on the mountain/under the cloud are throwing me off a bit. Like you said, probably sharpening/size reduction ... but you might consider that for your final website presentation.
