A pair of Hooded Crows vacating the scene 'pronto' as this male Sea Eagle decides to muscle-in on the scene.
What a stunning place myself, Ed and Rene Visser have been to - I'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone....
D3
300-800 @ 300mm (not an easy lens to travel with
)
ISO 400
1/2500th @ f6.3
14bit RAW
Slight crop off the top for comp.
Bigger version with better detail here

Fantastic Andy, 300mm, i assume you where in a hide?
Lovely dynamic image, and the eagle is stunning. How are you finding the D3 Andy?
I'll have to drop you a mail, not had a chat in a while.

Superb stuff, and you deserve a reward simply for lugging a 300-800 that distance!

Brilliant shot. The light on the eagle and feather detail is superb, and it has great action too!
