Snow in Ga. Young Mockingbird
Just got 6 hours of snow in Atlanta. I've got a bird feeder on the deck, and this little guy was hanging out in the maple tree near by. I shot the image with a canon 30d, with a 100-400mmIS lens. f5.6, 1/800 sec. iso 800. Comments are welcome.

How much snow did you end up with? A real strange thing for Atlanta isn't it?

Hey Thomas, ended up with approximately 4 inches, Athens, Ga. received 7-8 inches. Yeah when we get snow everything comes to a complete halt. Everyone runs to the grocery store for bread and milk, getting ready to be house bound. Atlantan's are snow-wimps!

Jeff,

It's a nice photo, but the 20d just doesn't hold up very well at ISO 800.

we got about 2-3 inches here near Greenville, SC.

Richard, I agree... not happy with the clarity. I've re-worked with a high sharpening and jpeg artifact removal from Corel. I used a 30D with the 100-400 and just can't seem to get the sharpness I want. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Oops, I meant 30d, not 20d. This is an improvement, Jeff.
