Snowy Robin
Grabbed in the car park at Kielder Water a few weeks back: the robins there are really bold, landing on your bonnet and wing mirrors within moments of parking up! Pity the left food was buried in the snow.

40D + 500mm, ISO 400 and f6.3 for 1/2000, +2/3ev
Tripod and seed
Full height portrait crop from landscape original
Few seeds cloned out of the foreground

All comments welcome

Its a shame you couldnt have managed a lower position-would have been a cracker then-excellent exposure

Very funny image:) I like that bit of snow on the beak.

Well done.

Its a nice image, snow on the bill adds humour, Robins and snow fit together so well, but a lower POV would have been nice.

Nice shot. Snow on beak good. Lower p.o.v. would be better I think.
But there is eyecontact.

I had the same thing a few weeks back, it just needed to be a little lower angle but otherwise it's a great shot of a bold subject !

A delightful image with good exposure. As suggested a lower pov would help, but I wouldn't fancy laying in the snow myself lol.

Nice one.

Same for me lower pov but still a lovely image nonetheless, maybe comp it with robin top right looking down into space might look nice?
