Sprocket
I was attracted to this abstracted piece of rusted
farm machinery. I was drawn to its shapes and
textures. I significantly enhanced the faded
colors in photoshop.

An interesting perspective, Robert. I have always been drawn to old farm stuff, as I farmed a lot as a kid, and this is typical of those old pieces of machinery. These days you would never find an "open" sproket where one could get caught in it on any farm or ranch gear. I use to capture shots of old windmills down here in So Cal, but most are all gone now, sadly.

Nice composition, but for me the edge filter is too much.

nice detail Robert but I agree w/ Dan. Maybe back off a bit on that effect?

Robert,

I think this is excellent! I really like the textures. Personally, I think whatever filters you've applied work to enhance those textures. I like this very much. My only thought about changing anything would be that the red be more "barn red" than what looks more like an orange/red - if that makes sense. But that's just a personal preference of course.
